  • October 29, 1929 Great Depression Black-and-white photograph of an outdoor street scene. A group of people are lined up outside a building.
  • A white page of a typed document with handwriting along the left and top margins of the first page as well as at the end of the document. March 21, 1931 Order-in-Council PC 695
  • January 30, 1933 Hitler Becomes Head of German Government Black-and-white photograph of two men in waving out a window. The photograph is taken from below, outside. The man on the left has a moustache, and there are men behind them in the background.
  • Black-and-white photograph of a field with one-storey barracks and a factory in the far background. March 22, 1933 First Nazi Concentration Camp Opens
  • April 1, 1933 Boycott of Jewish Stores in Germany Black-and-white photograph of three men in military uniforms, standing in front of a closed storefront that has iron gates. Two of the hold up signs written in German. The other soldier is in discussion with a civilian.
  • Light brown, aged document that is slightly frayed at the top. The document depicts a diagram with red and black circular symbols and text, and has a large red title saying The Nuremberg Laws. September 15, 1935 Jews Lose German Citizenship
  • April 26, 1938 Order for Disclosure of Jewish Assets A document written in German with the title ''Inventory form of Jewish Property''. It has two tables at the bottom of the front page which are blank.

  • September 29, 1938 Munich Agreement Black-and-white photograph of two men smiling and shaking hands. Both men have moustaches, and one man wears a lighter suit with a swastika badge on his arm.
